Tom grew up in the Ottawa area and is intimately familiar with the different neighbourhoods and regions throughout the nation’s capital. In his early years, Tom lived on the family farm in rural Stittsville learning the values associated with hard work and family. Tom joined the Canadian Armed Forces and after several years completed his studies at the University of Guelph. After working in the private sector in Toronto, Tom returned to Ottawa where he worked for many years in the federal government and eventually taking early retirement at the Director level.
In 2014, Tom decided to pursue a new career path in real estate and teamed up with his wife, Christine, to establish their own boutique real estate office. Tom has always had a passion for real estate investments and undertaking home renovations. As such, it was a seamless transition for Tom into real estate eventually becoming the Broker of Record for the Hauschild Group.
Tom contributes his diverse set of skills and strong commitment to customer service to ensure that the Hauschild Group delivers an exceptional and positive experience to all their clients from the initial meeting to even after the transaction is completed. Tom never stops seeking knowledge and staying up-to-date on latest trends and developments in the field of real estate. His thirst for knowledge and desire to constantly improve has led him to become a trusted advisor to the Hauschild Group’s clients, who value his expertise and insights.
Tom has established strong roots in Kanata where he and Christine raised their children and continue to live with their loveable dog, Lucy. In his spare time, Tom enjoys reading, cooking, gardening, canoeing, woodworking, and spending time with family and friends.
