Born in Montreal as one of five children, Lesley learned early to embrace change. With a newspaper executive father and a mother who kept the heart of the household steady, her family moved across several provinces, guided by moving vans, new beginnings, and the occasional box that never quite arrived. New schools, new neighbourhoods, and new rhythms became familiar terrain. From those early years, Lesley came to understand that transitions are rarely simple. They can be exciting, emotional, unpredictable, and deeply personal. That understanding now sits at the center of how she approaches real estate. For Lesley, it has always been about people first.

Her professional path began in publishing sales with The Ottawa Citizen, The Globe & Mail, Globe Media International, a lifestyle magazine in Vilamoura, Portugal, and Ottawa Magazine. These roles sharpened her communication skills and strengthened her natural ability to connect, listen, and build trust. Alongside a lifelong passion for design, homes, and business, real estate emerged as a natural next chapter, one she continues to pursue with genuine enthusiasm and care.

Lesley is deeply committed to her community and gives her time generously. She has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build Project, The Canadian Cancer Society, The Royal Ottawa Hospital Women for Mental Health, Bon Appétit Ottawa, Shepherds of Good Hope, and The Kanata Food Cupboard, among others. Service, for her, is not an obligation but a reflection of the values she lives by daily.

Beyond her work, Lesley treasures time with her daughter, Liv, the joy of a beautifully shared meal with family and friends, and the grounding rhythm of her gym routine. Travel feeds her spirit, and a recent safari through South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana fulfilled a lifelong dream. It remains an experience she carries with her, vivid, inspiring, and unforgettable.

Lesley's Q&A

If I weren’t working in real estate, I can easily see myself owning and running an historic inn. After working at a 16th century inn in southern France during my teens, it gave me a taste for that, combining so many things I love—beautiful spaces with character, creating a welcoming environment for people, and sharing memorable experiences. There’s something rewarding about preserving history, curating a warm and inviting home-away-from-home, and connecting with guests from all walks of life. It’s a space where design, hospitality, and community come together—and it’s exactly the kind of work that would feed my curiosity, creativity, and love of people.

Being outdoors. Whatever the season, I just love to spend time outside, which could be skiing, skating, standing by a campfire (my fave), or swimming, kayaking, biking or golfing. Bring on nature!
