The suburban neighbourhood of Morgan’s Grant is situated on the north side of Kanata, adjacent to the Kanata North Business Park. This high-technology centre is home to over 500 companies employing over 21,000 technology employees. The neighbourhood is mostly populated with single family homes and townhomes built after 1988. It’s home to over 8000 people, mostly young families.
There are many recreational activities available to residents of the area. Morgan’s Grant is populated with outdoor rinks, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, play structures, splash pads, a skateboard park, sports fields and tennis courts. There are several walking and biking paths throughout the community including South March Highlands Trails and the scenic Trillium Woods, a 15-km multi-use trail network. Residents also have access to facilities like the Richcraft Recreation Complex and are a short drive to beaches and boat access points for summer fun.
There are plenty of grocery stores, banks, restaurants, coffee shops and other amenities in the area that make living in this neighbourhood as convenient as it is scenic.
